Why make a reservation if you're not going to be treated any differently than 'walk ups'? Because making the reservation tells the shuttle company to expect you and, therefore, they'll send more vans to that location otherwise, they are estimating their customer count at each location, each day. In addition to those with reservations, there are those who just 'walk up' and it is the practice of prime time to accept reservations and 'walk ups' so each van is a blend of both of these types of customers. I've mentioned a number of times in the past that the reservation that 'shared vans' offer are not really reservations - they're a 'ball park estimate' of when you'll be ready to be picked up. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience on your second transfer with prime time. They stated that only applies to pick ups from a residence or hotel, not ports.which would make that false advertising. I contacted Prime Time about their disorganized and unprofessional business practice and also addressed the issue of a refund. I also noticed that painted on the side of their vans is "We're on time or you don't pay". The rep then wanted us to get off and wait for another one, but we refused. We finally got onto one of the shuttles at 12:10. I asked why people aren't taken according to their booked time and the rep replied "that's not how we do it." What then, is the point in having a booked time? To make things even worse, the first shuttle didn't even appear until 11:50. The rep said you get a shuttle on a "first come, first serve" basis. I then discovered that your pick-up time is irrelevant. There were many people already waiting and soon were joined by many more. We arrived at our pick-up location at 10:40 and checked in with the rep. We had a shuttle booked for 11:00 am to take us from the ship's pier to LAX. Our second occasion, however, was anything but pleasant. We were also very pleased with our driver. Despite receiving notification that our noon pick-up would be delayed to 12:15, our ride showed up at 11:45, which was great.
